Kila Posey

Program Consultant

Kila Posey has been a part of the educational field for over twelve years. She brings to JMH an abundance of expertise and knowledge gained through working in a variety of educational areas. As both as an educator and program specialist in the Georgia school system, Kila has worked in general education, special student services, and gifted departments. Well-versed in curriculum and adult learning, Kila has worked with various educational departments to create and implement curriculum and evaluation tools that promote student and teacher growth.

As an advocate of life-long learning, Kila is always willing to go above and beyond while working with prospective students. Her passion for learning and education focuses and drives her willingness to help others use the power of education to meet their life-long goals. As a Program Consultant for JMH Consulting, Kila supports the recruiting and student retention efforts of college and university clients. She is the primary point of contact for prospective students and helps the team develop supporting materials for university clients.

Originally from Illinois, Kila received her Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from the University of Illinois. She earned her Masters of Education (M.Ed) and Educational Specialist (Ed.S.) degrees in Adult Learning & Curriculum and Leadership respectively from Central Michigan University. Giving up the cold winters of the Midwest, she made Atlanta her home years ago and enjoys living in Inman Park. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, and traveling!
